Anyone who has ever been to one of our forest festivals knows that customs are still very active in Farchant. Starting with the traditional brass music, through the Schuhplattln dances to Fingerhakeln competitions or Goaßlschnalzen (whiping).
The traditional costume association ensures that the traditional costume and the regional dances are passed on from generation to generation and that a large part of the cultural heritage is preserved.
